There are innumerable and magnificent sights from which a tourist can choose. Usually, people go to more familiar places, but this becomes boring over time.

There are so many places to visit; so many sights to see, so if you are going to travel and take that summer vacation, try to leave your cocoon and explore some grand sights with us. Many people have no idea of where they would love to spend the holiday: a small village with enchanting landscapes or grand and towering cities; we would present you with exciting options in both categories. You may check out some vacation ideas to take a break here, while we delight you with great wonders that would interest you as a tourist.

Do you want to go on a quiet vacation— a place to welcome the sunrise and enjoy the sunset without the hustle and bustle of the big cities? Then check out these places;

  • Zhouzhuang, China

This elegant water town is described as the Venice of the East. It is an enchanting place with enchanting rules—motorised transport is banned, so you move on the waters in gondolas under some beautiful stone bridges. At dusk, the waterways are lighted with the traditional Chinese lamps. Think of romance and magic—think of Zhouzhuang.

  • Gokayama Village, Japan

The architectural masterpiece of this town is its greatest attraction. You will find farmhouses that are over 250 years old and countless examples of the Gassho-zukuri-style architecture.

  • Parga, Greece

It is described locally as the “bride of Epirus.” It is one of the youngest of all Greek settlements as it has existed since only the 13th century. Still, history is not lost on it. It is the only Greek village free to practice Christianity during the Ottoman rule. You will also find architectural structures from long ago in this beautiful town.

  • Lamu, Kenya

A beautiful preserved Swahili settlement—it is Kenya’s oldest inhabited town. You will find traces of the poetry, politics, arts, and crafts that once adorned it.  If you are a fan of beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and sunny seascapes, then you are in the right place.

To others that will prefer the big cities, check out some of these fantastic places. They are guaranteed to leave you awed

  • Cairo, Egypt

Egypt, one of the world’s oldest civilisation, offers mind-boggling marvels to visitors. The pyramids are a marvel, but what about the Nile, the Pharaohs’ treasures, the Sphinx, and its grand museums? Try Egypt. It promises to rank as one of your most enjoyed trips

  • Dubai, UAE

This city would offer you no glimpse into history, but it opens up the future to anyone who visits. It is pushing boundaries when it comes to mouth-watering architecture, museums, et cetera. Think of it as the city of gold.

You may also visit Vancouver in Canada, Galway in Ireland, and many more—there is no shortage of worthy sights; there are just the limits of your mind.
