There is one film missing which I can not find..

It's about two con artists (brothers?) who start with small swindles (including three card monte using what appears to be tarot cards). They end up involved in a classic suitcase full of cash double cross long con...

The film is European and it's NOT nine queens or The Past Is A foreign Country.

Anyone?

Oliver Twist - Polanski’s 2005 version has some nice, very clever pickpocket scenes.

I've recently watched a few obscure ones you might enjoy

Il Bidono - Fellini's 1959 classic about an aging Italian con man.

Incautos - A spanish take on the short con artist explores the long con (Hustle, The Sting etc.). This is the film I was looking for in the post above.

Kurosagi - Based on a Japanese manga and TV show, Kurosagi is a 'black swindler' a con man who scams (or 'devours') 'white swindlers'.

The Golden Calf - Based on the Russian satirical of the same name, this film is GREAT. Unfortunately, it's only available in Russian so you'll need to either download it illegally and add the subtile file or watch it on youtube.

Do you think card cheat and pickpocket films count as scam movies?

Roscoe makes a good point about the traveling messengers of God. If the Lord where here today, he would still move around like He did back then. By what they said they don't know as much as they claim. He walked when there were horeses and carts. The one thing that gets my goat is to hear someone use God on people who are looking for truth, peace, and all the gifts that are there for the believer. I started a paper a long time ago and take it out now and then on the cons of the tent as I put it. I do go to church here in Vegas and we all try to follow the spirit. I have heard truth and have heard from the those whose eyes still have scales. My pastor told me you cannot hate the blind for being blind. I love God and I love to entertain with magic.  Strange mix. But if you ask of He that died for us He will answer.  He did for me and that is all I know. I asked for a change in my life and 6 years now I sleep good and have peace. I know I can't take anyone to heaven, but I can let someone keep me from it if I allow it. That's it, I am done on this topic for today. I will talk to anyone about this, but not on the open forum as it is a personnal thing and this is not the place for it. I brought it up because it was there.
