I nearly went to Russia once at the height of the cold war to sell svengali decks. Serious conversations with the Soviet Embassy about it too. My brother talked me out of it on the grounds that my grandfather escaped from Russia by deserting the Russian army
and stealing an army horse during the Russian revolution. He figured they might still be looking for him and use me as a consolation prize instead. I didn't fancy Siberia so I changed my mind. Just as well. I worked a Russian festival in Toronto and the bastards didn't buy anything. And when they did they paid with counterfeit money.

Good move, Mark. I myself am descended from a long and distinguished line of sheep thieves, so I can empathize. Besides, we, your fellow Scoundrels, surely wouldn't want anybody in either Siberia or Toronto "russian" to judgment about you.
