Becoming a scoundrel

Hi,
How do I know if I've become a scoundrel. I never contacted Whit, but I can see the sections on the SG, TCM, and Fast and Loose. Did someone promote me?

Apparently so. Whit and I frequently check new members, and if deemed worthy you get an automatic promotion. It wasn't me (I usually don't do any more than alert Whit) so he must have done it.
However you got here, welcome scoundrel!
