Errrm...perhaps I'd best specify a bit.

I'm learning stacking from the Todd Strong DVD.  I can make it work with a cheap plastic cup, but not with a nice leather cup I bought from Frank.  Now I know Frank does good work, so it's got to be something I'm doing wrong.

Further clue:  I can stack 'em when I keep the cup on the table, but cannot maintain the stack in the air...

Much obliged!

As it reads in the good book, Psalm 50, 9th verse, "I shall accept no bull from thy household."

what kind of surfice are you stacking on?

I use a plexiglass and spray it with furnature bee wax. after 3 minutes wipe off the excess. the surfoce is now very smooth.

What's the inner surface of the cup like? Smooth? Ribbed? Leather? Plastic? Each type requires a different skill level to maintain the stack inside the cup.

I"m not sure what you mean by your ability to stack on the table but not in the air?
Dave, his cup should be smooth on the bottom, smooth on the inside.

MY suggestion is to do it nice and smooth. Don't be too aggressive, just smooth with good follow-thru.

Can you video yourself doing it so I can give you some feedback?
